Shipping & Handling
At uWoodlove, we thoughtfully source wood-inspired and wood-made products from a range of makers and suppliers. That means shipping times and packaging can vary a little from item to item.
We know waiting on an order is never the fun part, so we want to be clear about what to expect. Our goal is simple: get your order to you as safely and smoothly as possible.
Order Processing
Most orders are processed within 1–5 business days after your purchase is placed.
Some items may take a little longer, especially if they are:
- made to order
- prepared by a specialty supplier
- shipped from a different warehouse or fulfillment partner
Once your order has been processed and shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information when available.
Shipping Times
Estimated delivery times vary depending on the product, supplier, and destination.
Typical delivery windows are:
- Canada: 5–15 business days
- United States: 7–18 business days
- International: 10–25 business days
These timeframes are estimates, not guarantees. Delays can occasionally happen due to weather, carrier issues, customs processing, holidays, or periods of high order volume.
Orders May Arrive in Separate Packages
Because some of our products ship from different suppliers or locations, items in the same order may arrive separately and on different days.
Not the most exciting part of modern ecommerce, but it’s sometimes how the wheels turn behind the curtain.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout whenever possible, based on your delivery address and the items in your cart.
From time to time, we may also offer:
- flat-rate shipping
- free shipping promotions
- product-specific shipping offers
Any current shipping offer will always be clearly shown on the website.
Tracking
Tracking details are provided whenever available.
Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with tracking information. Please note that tracking updates can sometimes take a few days to appear in the carrier’s system.
Customs, Duties & Import Fees
For orders shipped outside Canada, customs fees, import duties, or local taxes may apply depending on your country’s rules.
These charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
uWoodlove is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.
Incorrect Shipping Information
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout.
If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, or because delivery was attempted multiple times without success, additional shipping charges may apply to resend the package.
Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Orders
If your order arrives damaged, or if you believe it may be lost in transit, please contact us at:

- photos, if applicable
We’ll do our best to help sort it out and work with the supplier or carrier toward a resolution.
Natural Material Variations
Many of our products are made from natural wood or wood-based materials. Because of that, slight variations in grain, tone, texture, and color are completely normal.
We think that’s part of the charm. No two pieces are exactly alike, and that’s kind of the point.
