Refund & Return Policy

At uWoodlove, we want you to feel confident ordering from us. Because many of our products are made from natural wood and some items may ship from specialized fulfillment partners, our return policy is designed to be fair, clear, and practical.
1. Return window
We accept return requests for eligible items within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, the item must:
- be unused
- be in original condition
- be in its original packaging
- include any accessories, inserts, or documentation that came with it
- not be marked final sale or non-returnable
2. Non-returnable items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect:
- custom-made, made-to-order, or personalized items
- final sale, clearance, or liquidation items
- gift cards
- items that have been used, installed, assembled, altered, or damaged after delivery
- items returned without prior approval
3. Natural wood variation
Because wood is a natural material, each piece will vary slightly in:
- grain pattern
- colour tone
- texture
- knotting
- natural character marks
These natural variations are part of what makes wood products unique and are not considered defects.
Please also note that screen settings and photography can affect how colours appear online, so slight differences between the product photos and the item received may occur.
4. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, contact us within 72 hours of delivery at support@uwoodlove.com.
Please include:
- your order number
- a short description of the issue
- clear photos of the item
- photos of the product packaging
- a photo of the shipping label, if possible
Once reviewed, we will determine the appropriate resolution, which may include:
- a replacement
- store credit
- a partial refund
- a full refund
We reserve the right to request additional photos or information before approving a claim.
5. Change-of-mind returns
If you simply changed your mind and the item is eligible for return:
- you must contact us within 30 days of delivery
- the item must be unused and in original packaging
- return shipping is the customer’s responsibility
- original shipping charges are non-refundable
If your order originally qualified for free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost may be deducted from your refund.
For oversized, fragile, or special-handling items, any actual non-refundable shipping or handling costs may also be deducted from the refund.
6. How to start a return
To request a return, email support@uwoodlove.com with:
- your order number
- the item(s) you want to return
- the reason for the return
- photos, if the item is damaged or defective
If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions.
Please do not send items back without authorization.
Because some orders may ship from different warehouse or supplier locations, returns sent to the wrong address may be refused or delayed.
7. Refunds
Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to post the refund.
Refunds are issued for the approved amount only. We may reduce or deny a refund if the returned item:
- is not in original condition
- is missing packaging or parts
- shows signs of use, wear, assembly, or damage not caused in transit
- was returned contrary to this policy
8. Exchanges
We do not guarantee direct exchanges on all items.
If you would like a different item, the fastest option is usually to request an approved return for the original item and place a new order.
If the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will work with you on a replacement where available.
9. Order cancellations
Orders may be cancelled for a full refund before they ship or before production begins.
For custom, personalized, or made-to-order items, cancellation requests must be submitted within 24 hours of purchase and can only be approved if production has not already started.
Once an order has shipped, it falls under the standard return rules in this policy.
10. Refused or undeliverable packages
If a package is refused at delivery or returned to sender because of an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, or non-collection, any refund may be reduced by:
- actual shipping charges
- return shipping charges
- carrier fees
- handling fees incurred by us
11. Lost packages
If your order appears lost in transit, contact us and we will assist in opening a carrier investigation.
If tracking shows a package as delivered but you cannot locate it, please first check:
- around your property
- with household members
- with neighbours
- with the carrier
Refunds or replacements for lost shipments may require carrier confirmation before they can be issued.
